We have set no limit to the amount of devices you can simultaneously use to access dT Media TV. Provided your Broadband connection can cope, different people will be able to watch the channel of their choice from different devices, all at the same time.

What do I need?

1. You need a Direct Telecom Broadband connection. dT Media TV is designed to work well only on Direct Telecom Broadband connections as the server bandwidth as well as the QoS (Quality of Service) has been engineered to be optimal for ADSL connections within our own network only.
2. Your favourite device(s) connected to the Direct Telecom Router via LAN cable (recommended) or WiFi. dT Media TV supports all the latest devices with a recent version of an Internet Browser.

How much does dT Media TV cost?

Access to dT Media TV is FREE to Direct Telecom Broadband customers to enjoy Live TV & Radio.
The Catch-UP TV & VOD features are only available for dT Media MORE Customers who will be able to activate the CVR for Recording & Storage.
The rates as well as the options to "upgrade" or "downgrade" packages are available at dtmedia.tv.

Will I be able to view a trial before switching from my current provider to Direct Telecom?

Of course. It would not be right not to let you have a look before switching to our money saving packages. If you are currently using another provider, you can still go to dtmedia.tv, and the system will automatically give you the option to request access details for a Trial. It is IMPORTANT to remember that ANY network external to ours will not work as well for reasons that have been previously explained. Even a 20MB Movistar ADSL will not work as well as a 3MB from Direct Telecom. We are not giving any priority to external bandwidth. By all means, use the trial access to take a look at dT Media TV, but we highly recommend you visit a friend with a Direct Telecom Broadband connection to get the real picture of what you will get!

Is my device compatible?

dT Media TV has specifically been developed to be easily accessible from all of the most popular devices that tend to be connected to the Internet. All you need is a device connected via LAN or WiFi to your Direct Telecom Broadband router. Simply launch your Internet Browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome or your Smart TV Browser) and go to dtmedia.tv. The system will automatically know if you are accessing from a Direct Telecom Broadband connection and will let you straight through to the channel list.  If you are accessing from an "external" Internet connection, you will be able to request Trial Access.

In order to find out if your Computer, Smart TV, SmartPhone or Tablet is compatible to enjoy dtmedia.tv, we have prepared an easy way for you to test this right away.

This "test" will simply play you a video.
Your device is compatible if your device starts playing the video.
If your device prompts you to download the file, or gives you other suggestions, the chances are that your browser &/or Flash versions need to be updated.  Depending on the manufacturer of your device, this is something they may or may not support.

NOTE: If you are testing from a mobile device over 3G the resuts could be influenced by the data speeds assigned to you by the carrier.  This does not mean your device is not compatible, it would just be better to test it with WiFi instead to make sure.

The CVR (Cloud Video Recorder) is required to enjoy Catch-UP TV & VOD and can be rented through the dT Media MORE package.  The CVR is a personal and non-transferable feature that allows the user to record content & use "Time Shifting" technology for personal use only. The CVR will only start recording once the user has "switched" on the function.
